ORCA is the native governance and utility token of the Orca protocol. It powers decentralized decision-making, aligns long-term stakeholders, and captures value from protocol activity through the xORCA staking system.

ORCA holders vote on proposals that shape the protocol — fee structures, treasury allocation, upgrades, and more.

Staking (xORCA)

Stake ORCA to receive xORCA, which earns a share of protocol trading fees through automatic buybacks.

Protocol Alignment

Holding or staking ORCA aligns you with Orca’s long-term success. More volume = more buybacks = higher xORCA value.

DAO Participation

ORCA and xORCA holders can delegate voting power, submit proposals, and elect the DAO Council.

Fee Distribution

Protocol fees collected from trading activity are distributed as follows: 
Trading fees collected → 12% protocol share → split between:
  ├── 40%  → Buy back ORCA → added to xORCA vault (staker rewards)
  └── 60%  → Orca Fee Treasury (development, grants, operations)
This means active stakers directly benefit from Orca’s trading volume growth. Higher volume drives more buybacks, increasing the ORCA value backing each xORCA token.

How to Acquire ORCA

The easiest way. Go to orca.so and swap any supported token for ORCA directly.
ORCA is listed on various centralized exchanges. Check CoinGecko for a current list of markets.
Some pools offer ORCA as an incentive reward on top of trading fees. Check the Pools page for pools with active ORCA rewards.
